Michael Quintero named Huntington Learning Center and WXXV November Teacher of the Month

Michael Quintero has been named the WXXV and Huntington Learning Center Teacher of the Month for November.

Quintero is the robotics instructor at Bayou View Middle School, giving students hands-on opportunities to build robots and enter them in major competitions. He was nominated by coworker Melanie Davis.

“My favorite teacher, Mr. Q, is truly deserving of a reward for so many reasons. He works tirelessly to mentor not only our students, but also those from other elementary schools, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a love for robotics and technology in young minds. Mr. Q dedicates countless hours to writing grants that provide essential resources for our programs, ensuring that we have the tools we need to succeed,” Davis wrote in her nomination.
