MHP releases New Year enforcement numbers
Mississippi Highway Patrol released the numbers for the New Year travel enforcement period.
State troopers did not respond to any deadly accidents on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.
Across the state, there were 95 wrecks, a little more than 3,200 citations issued, and 34 DUI arrests made over the enforcement period.
