MHP releases identity of person killed in Tuesday George County wreck

George County, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi Highway Patrol is releasing the name of the victim of Tuesday’s wreck in George County.

That wreck causing structural damage to the Pascagoula River Bridge. A 2021 Kenworth semi-truck driven by 51-year-old Donald Givens of Lucedale was driving west on Highway 26 when it hit a 2023 Ford F550 driven by 42-year-old Percy Moss of Hot Springs, Arkansas that was driving east.

A 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 46-year-old Heather Hager of Wiggins was also traveling east on Highway 26 when it was struck by debris from the collision.

Percy Moss sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene. Donald Givens was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries sustained from the crash. Heather Hager sustained no injuries.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
