MGM Park to host college baseball games

Fall baseball is here and MGM Park will be the host of two collegiate exhibition matches this Sunday and next Saturday.

The Samford Bulldogs and Southeastern Louisiana Lions will face off against each other this Sunday, with first pitch at 2 p.m.

Following this matchup, Auburn and Louisiana Tech battle it out on the diamond at 1 p.m. on November 4th.

All schools have made an appearance in the NCAA Baseball Tournament over the last two years, with numerous coaches and players with ties to the Coast.

All tickets are $12 for general admission. Biloxi Shuckers Media Relations Javik Blake said, “I’m so excited to have just more incredible and good college baseball here at MGM Park. We love supporting college baseball teams throughout the region. We’ve hosted numerous games here at our ballpark. So, to be able to do that once again here at MGM Park and welcome in a Coast native and Head Coach Tony David, up in Samford is so exciting.”

Southern Miss baseball will return to MGM Park February 27th to host Nicholls State. The last time Southern Miss played at the ball park was 2019.
