MGCCC’s School of Nursing & Health Professions earns four-year accreditation as provider of nursing continuing professional development

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s School of Nursing & Health Professions has been granted a prestigious four-year accreditation as a provider of Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
This accreditation, effective through November 30, 2028, marks MGCCC’s commitment to advancing nursing education and quality healthcare outcomes through high-standard, accredited programs.
The ANCC’s NCPD Accreditation Program is recognized for its rigorous standards, assessing organizations based on their capability to deliver quality, evidence-based continuing education that meets the professional development needs of nurses and aligns with healthcare industry standards.
MGCCC’s successful application underscores the college’s dedication to providing top-tier programming that fosters nursing excellence and professional growth.
