MGCCC’s Mason Hunt named Special Teams Player of the Week

Mason Hunt of the Mississippi Gulf Coast football team has been named NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week, one day after taking home the like from MACJC.
The Stone High School alum was perfect last week in his team’s 48-25 win over East Central in which he connected on all six extra points and both field goal attempts. He also handles kickoff and punting duties after being awarded both jobs in the pre-season.
The Bulldogs will be back in action tomorrow night at Hinds with that game slated to start at 6:30.
