MGCCC’s Markeisha Watson Signs D1 Scholarship

Congratulations to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Markeisha Watson.
The 5’9” guard signed a basketball scholarship with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley today. She will be playing in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Pascagoula native averaged 14.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the Lady Bulldogs last year. She says MGCCC helped her get better “mentally, physically and emotionally.”
