MGCCC’s Brandon Parker named All-America

Speaking of Gulf Coast, some high praise awarded to Brandon Parker earlier today.

The West Harrison alum has been tabbed as an NJCAA Division II All-America first team selection for his record-breaking season with the Bulldogs.

In 2018, Parker went off, blasting 24 home runs, good for second best in the country and racking up 81 RBIs, the most in the entire nation.

Those 24 long balls are a new program-best, easily exceeding the previous mark of 19, set 20 years ago.

He’s the first All-American from Perk since 2015.
