MGCCC Student Veterans of America Chapter gives back to veterans in need
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Student Veterans of America Chapter collected and donated to the Backpacks for Veterans program.
The delivery happened on December 16, bringing everything to the Biloxi VA Medical Center.
The drive was put on by the Harrison County chapter. Blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, and hygiene products were collected and used to fill backpacks.
These essential items will be used to support homeless veterans during the holidays.
