MGCCC Softball sweeps LSUE with 8-7 and 8-4 final scores!

The cold weather didn’t scare softball fans in South Mississippi as the MGCCC Bulldogs hosted LSU-Eunice for a double header. East Central and recent State Champion Breyona Tanner is on the mound for the Bulldogs.

The Tigers got two runs on the board in the top of the first, but the Bulldogs regained the lead quickly 3-2 thanks to a Caroline Batson single, Piper Rushing it by pitch, Natalie Jones double and Layla Barnes RBI.

The bats were alive all night long as the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers twice, with a close 8-7 first game and an 8-4 second game. MGCCC will now hit the road to Decatur on Wednesday to face East Central Community College.
