MGCCC running back, Gautier alum heading to the division I ranks

Headlining the class coming out of MGCCC is Gautier alum DeAndre Torrey who burst onto the scene as a freshman running back up at Perk.
In 2017, he was fourth in the country with nearly 1,300 rushing yards to go along with 12 touchdowns in just nine games.
Yesterday, he was named to the NJCAA All American second team and will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Mean Green.
Of the other 12 Bulldogs signing today, three of them are heading to power 5 schools.
