MGCCC Respiratory Care Technology Program wins state title

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is celebrating a big win for its respiratory care technology program.

The Bronchial Ballers Respiratory Care Team dominated the 2026 Magnolia Sputum Bowl, taking home first place and earning the chance to represent Mississippi at nationals later this year.

The competition puts students respiratory care knowledge and critical thinking skills to the test and these students came out on top.

Now, with a state title under their belts and nationals on the horizon, the Bronchial Ballers are showing exactly why the Gulf Coast is becoming a powerhouse for future healthcare professionals.
