MGCCC receives donation from local organizations for food pantry

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College hosted a special grant presentation ceremony with rotary club representatives from Jackson and George counties.

The presentation marks the kickoff of MGCCC’s month of giving in November.

The event celebrated a $2,620 donation made possible through the collaboration of five local rotary clubs, Rotary International, and MGCCC Foundation Board Vice Chair David Allen.

The contribution will benefit the college’s food pantries at the Jackson County campus and George County center, supporting students and employees in need of food, toiletries, and other essential items.
