MGCCC QB commits to South Alabama

Former Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College standout and recent National Champion Quarterback Chance Lovertich will take his talents to the next level.

Lovertich, who led the Bulldogs to a 12-0 record this year, will be attending the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

Lovertich threw for nearly 3,000 yards this season, breaking an MGCCC record and being selected as an NJCAA All-American.

Lovertich is the third member of Gulf Coast’s team to commit to South Alabama for 2020, along with Defensive End Jamie Sheriff and Offensive Lineman Hayden Burton.
