MGCCC, PRCC both win big on Thursday

If any Juco football team in Mississippi could use a home game, it’s Mississippi Gulf Coast.

On top of playing four out of its first five games on the road, the Bulldogs are still less than two weeks removed from the tragic passing of Levi Madison.

Tonight, they honored number 99 with a moment of silence before the game.

Gulf Coast rolled out the welcome mat for East Central, but not a warm welcome for the opposition as the Bulldogs take care of business, doing it for Levi, 31-13.

Now, East Central High alum Touchdown Tony Brown has the second-best rushing performance in Pearl River Community College school history, 229 yards, four touchdowns, on just ten carries. All part of the Wildcats homecoming thrashing of Holmes, 55-7.
