MGCCC Harrison County honors academics and involvement at awards ceremony

It was a day of celebration for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Harrison County campus.

Faculty, staff, and family members gathered at the Hospitality Resort Management Center for the Harrison County campus awards ceremonies.

Students, strong in academics, received awards from the six different schools MGCCC has to offer and being a member of the honors college.

Aside from performance in the classroom, students were recognized for their hard work and dedication to clubs, honor societies, and other organizations.

Vice President of the Harrison County campus Cedric Bradley says this is one of the most exciting events. “It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate our students and all of their hard work they’ve done throughout the year in the classroom, out of the classroom, and it’s a great way for us to recognize our students for their excellence and achievements that they do each and every day.”

The awards ceremony was capped off with the announcement of the newly inducted Hall of Fame class.
