MGCCC football wins in dramatic fashion in first game since tragic passing of Levi Madison

In somewhat of a belated recap of the Juco football slate, Mississippi Gulf Coast won a game on Thursday that means more off the field than it does on the field.

Down by six in the waning moments against Copiah-Lincoln, the Bulldogs scored the game winning touchdown with two seconds left on the clock.

The 14-13 victory was pure bliss for a Gulf Coast team less than a week removed from the tragic passing of defensive lineman Levi Madison.

His number 99 was on full display throughout the night on the Bulldog sideline and some things are bigger than football.
