Mermaids return to Mississippi Aquarium

Mermaids return to Mississippi Aquarium GULFPORT, Miss. – Mystical mermaids are returning to Mississippi Aquarium for two weekends this September!

Aquarium visitors can enjoy mermaid dive performances throughout the day on September 13-15 and September 20-22. Real-life mermaid meet and greet experiences are also included in general admission. Mermaid meet and greets will be held in Changing Tides throughout with photo packages available.

Mississippi Aquarium is also bringing back the ever-popular Mermaid Breakfast experiences that sold out in a matter of weeks last year! Mermaid Breakfast is a separate ticketed event and is available on September 14, 15, 21, or 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The breakfast event includes admission to the Mississippi Aquarium, a special Mermaid Meet and Greet, magical performances, and much more.

In addition to the festivities, Mississippi Aquarium also launches a new Virtual Reality Film on their Wild Explorer Virtual Reality Experience, A Mermaid’s Quest. This animated film is an exciting adventure through the ocean with a young seafarer as they learn about ecological issues and all the unexpected beauty beneath the waves. Wild Explorer is a separate ticketed experience and A Mermaid’s Quest is available for a limited time.
