Mental Health Association of South MS showcases resources at Health and Wellness Fair
The Mental Health Association of South Mississippi hosted a health and wellness fair at the Biloxi Community Center to showcase all the resources available to those in the community.
More than 40 vendors providing services in health and wellness were set up offering free screenings, resources, information, and door prizes.
The event also featured a presentation by international bestselling author and mental heath advocate Ashley Robertson on prioritizing your mental health. Mental Health Association Director of Programs Kimberly Barta said, “It’s just so important that everyone came together today so we can have resources all in one place. You never know what type of resources someone is going to need and so it is great that we have them here and they can just walk to each place, find out what community resources are out there, and what they may need help with.”
The Mental Health Association of South Mississippi will host their ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ fundraiser on July 15th at the Biloxi Civic Center.
