Memorial Hospital opens new sleep center in Wiggins

Memorial Hospital opened a new sleep center for patients in Wiggins.

Memorial Hospital in Stone County features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and board-certified sleep specialists.

The facility features private rooms and sleep specialists are available to evaluate and recommend appropriate treatment options for individual needs according to the sleep study outcomes.

The center has two rooms with a queen-sized bed, recliner, and TV to make patients feel at home when they are going through tests.

Craig Gravely is the manager of the Sleep Center and he says the new location makes it convenient for many patients.

According to the Institute of Medicine Committee on Sleep Medicine and Research, 80 to 90 percent of adults with clinically significant sleep-disordered breathing remain undiagnosed.
