Memorial Hospital Gulfport receives national award

Gulfport, Miss. (WXXV)- Memorial Hospital Gulfport announces they are part of the nation’s top performing hospitals for treatment of heart attack patients.

To receive this recognition, Memorial Hospital had to demonstrate sustained achievement in the chest pain registry for two consecutive years and performed at top level for specific performance measures.

Officials saying participation engages hospitals in a robust quality improvement process using data, that data being used to drive improvements for heart attack care.

Those same officials saying Memorial Hospital saying they are honored to be recognized for their service and says the achievement reflects the hard work their staff does.
