Memorial Health holds Women’s History Month panel

This month is Women’s History Month and Memorial Health is working to continue to empower women in the medical field.

This morning, a panel was held to honor women who came before them and build upon their inspiration.

Six leaders with Memorial and the community came together to talk about how to mentor and grow one another.

A goal was to brainstorm how to properly give everyone a voice. Dr. Gretchen Holmes said, “So we came up with some ideas on how to do that, which is including making sure that we are offering them opportunities even if they’re not in the room, making sure that we are being fair and equitable to those who are getting those opportunities.”

The panel hopes to build upon the work this morning and continue to see changes.
