Memorial Health celebrates Nurses Day with oath renewal and blessing of hands

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Memorial is celebrating their nurses as Wednesday kicked off Nurses Week.

WXXV stopped in at Memorial Hospital in Biloxi for the Nurses Oath Renewal and Blessing of the Hands event.

Dozens of nurses gathered to read the oath, pledging to always consider the welfare of their patients, act with compassion, be trustworthy, ethical, and protect the health, safety, and rights of patients.

Nurse Oath Renewals also took place at Memorial’s Gulfport campus.
