Memorial Day Visitation at the Biloxi National Cemetery

The Biloxi National Cemetery is filled with red, white and blue in honor of Memorial Day.
Small American flags adorn each grave in the cemetery to honor the fallen men and women who gave their lives in service of our country.
News 25 spoke with a family visiting their loved one’s grave Sunday afternoon. Deborah Stanley said, “We are visiting my dad who was buried here in 2002. He was a very good father, strong man. He was in the service for 16 years.” Haley Billings said, “He passed away in 2002. I never really met him, but from what I’ve heard he was a really good guy. I wish I could have met him.”
This morning, a ceremony was held at the cemetery in honor of those service men and women who died for our country.
