Memorial Day ceremony in Biloxi

The Biloxi National Cemetery is teaming up with one Coast organization to honor fallen veterans.
This Saturday and Monday, Crusaders for Veterans plans to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. On Saturday, Crusaders and members of the Biloxi National Cemetery Memorial Committee will be placing American flags on the over 19,000 graves at the cemetery.
Starting at 8 a.m. they will continue a tradition started hundreds of years ago. Crusaders for Veterans President and CEO Kevin Cuttill said, “This has been going on since 1868. Decoration Day started out at Arlington and it’s continued on. It’s a way for everyone to have a part remembering all those that have given all. They’re no longer here, so we respect them.”
On Monday at 9 a.m. there will be a ceremony for the men and women who fought and died while defending our country.
