Memorial Day Blowout returns to the Gulfport Dragway

Hogs, choppers, cruisers, you name it, it will be at the 39th annual Memorial Day Blowout kicking off Friday.

The blowout offers 100 acres of a party site for four days of exciting events and attractions, where all the proceeds go back to the community and many charitable organizations.

There are also races, live music, and several motorcycle vendors who will be set up offering the best in apparel and accessories for you and your bike.

Slow racing, ring tosses, barrel races, tattoo contests, and the weenie bite are a few of the fun activities that are planned. Asgard Cyrus with the Asgard Motorcycle Club said, “Everybody that comes out to have a good time will be helping the Boys and Girls Club and other organizations that need help. We do what we can. This is one of those places. If you want to race your bike and not get a speeding ticket, this is the place to come do it. It’s not just big race bikes, if you’re an everyday rider bring it on in and let’s sling it down the track.”

The gates will open at the Gulfport Dragway at noon on Friday and will run all the way up until Memorial Day. Tickets are $40 per person.
