Memorial continues to offer COVID vaccinations to community

The team at Memorial rolled out the mobile vaccination site today to get more residents vaccinated.

The bus was parked outside of Youther Lee Keyes Park in Harrison County. The vaccination site offered all doses and boosters for Pfizer and Moderna.

Within the first hour, seven people were vaccinated with four of them being first doses.

Nurse Practitioner Erika Lett says that the team has no expectations with the number of vaccinations given out and are here to serve whoever shows, even if its just one. “Being able to reach anybody in the community being readily assessable has been wonderful. You know, we’re happy to get one, two and even better getting first time doses in. Whatever we can do in that community that we are in, you know, as long as we can reach somebody is what we’re hoping for.”
