Memorial Behavioral Health To Join Universal

Today, Universal Health Services announced its acquisition of Memorial Behavioral Health (MBH) and expects to complete the transaction in the first quarter of 2018.
Memorial currently operates a 109-bed behavioral health facility, along with two outpatient clinics in Gulfport.
MBH offers a full continuum of professional services to help individuals and their families resolve and manage emotional and behavioral problems.
Universal has a successful track record with similar partnerships and is committed to working with Memorial Hospital in Gulfport to ensure a seamless transition.
The two organizations will also work together to integrate behavioral health services into Memorial Hospital’s continuum of care by providing consultation services to patients.
