MEMA: 486 homes now reported as damaged due to severe weather

As more and more damage reports continue to come in, officials say nearly 500 homes across the southern counties have now reported damage.

Of the 486 homes damaged, 116 are considered destroyed and 134 suffered major damage.

Within the six southern counties, Harrison County has reported the most homes damaged at 274 with Stone County now reporting 121 homes damaged.
