Meggan Monday: New Mississippi Veterans Home

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)-Leaders with Mississippi Veterans Affairs are putting the final touches on a $60 million project just down the road from Tradition.

The 133,000 square foot facility on Tradition Parkway will soon house up to 100 veterans. Meggan Gray gives us a sneak peek inside the impressive VA home.

They are expecting the VA secretary to be on hand for the April 11 ribbon cutting. We’re told the first round of veterans will likely be moving into the new home later this summer. They will be phased in with about 20 veterans moving in at first and gradually allowing more in to fill all the rooms.
