Meetings set to discuss Highway 90 bridge project between Pearlington and Slidell
Public hearings regarding the future of Highway 90 between Pearlington and Slidell have been set.
These meetings are designed to give residents of Hancock County and St. Tammany Parish an overview of the project to replace aging bridges on that stretch of 90 that have been closed since 2022 due to safety concerns.
The first hearing is set for October 20 at the Pearlington Recovery Center with the second one at Slidell’s Northshore High School on October 26.
In the meantime, environmental assessments for the project can be found on the Louisiana DOT website.
