Meet Mermaids at the Mississippi Aquarium
Have you ever seen mermaids? Well, today is your lucky day as the majestic ladies take a dive into the waters at the Mississippi Aquarium.
The Mermaid Magic Exhibit began today and it will run this weekend and next weekend.
This exhibit is set to bring lots of traffic through the Aquatic Wonders facility. You can view the mermaids in the large tank as they demonstrate dive performances.
CEO Kurt Allen talks about the fun weekend ahead and the important message he wants visitors to take away from their visit. “Little kids love mermaids and so to for the parents to be able to come down and showcase the mermaids, some of the parents are even dressing up. It’s a great opportunity to come down. You can even get up close and take a picture with one of our mermaids in our Changing Tides building. So, conservation is always a message that we try to push along to the families about keeping oceans clean. Mermaids always need clean water to swim in.”
You can meet and greet the mermaids with a general admission ticket and you also have next weekend, the 15th through the 17th, to view the mermaids.
