Meet The Democratic Candidates

A local democratic organization is doing its part to make sure Jackson County residents are ready for municipal elections this summer.
The democratic women’s federation of Jackson County is inviting democratic voters and other residents to a meet and greet for democratic candidates running for city offices.
The federation encourages residents from Pascagoula, Moss Point, Gautier and Ocean Springs to come out to gulf coast’s Jackson County Campus tomorrow night to get to know the candidates before they cast their ballots.

“It’s really important for people to know who they’re voting for. There is no point in randomly choosing the top name on the ballot, the male, the female, the R, the D. You need to know your candidates. Cities are million dollar municipalities, million dollar businesses. We need qualified, confident people with a vision to run our cities.

The event is set to start at 6 in the cafeteria on MGCCC’s Campus in Gautier.
