MDOT gives green light for Dedeaux Road project

Good news for Gulfport residents who are eagerly awaiting the widening of Dedeaux Road, the green light has been given for the project to move forward.
MDOT has authorized the city to proceed with advertisement for construction. The Gulfport City Council is set to approve the advertisement of bids for the multi-million dollar widening project at next week’s city council meeting.
Bids for the construction of Dedeaux Road widening phase one have a due date of June 13th.
When completed, Dedeaux Rad from DeDe Drive to Three Rivers Road will be widened from two to four lanes, a project that’s been in the works for decades.
