McKinley Jackson to play in U.S. Army All-American Bowl
While some of the top college football programs in the nation are patiently awaiting the commitment of George County’s McKinnley Jackson, the man of the hour, just made a different kind of commitment.
On Monday, Jackson gave his pledge to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, set to be played on January 4th in San Antonio, Texas.
Jackson, a four star defensive tackle, is the state’s number one recruit, according to ESPN. And for good reason, currently leading the 6-3 Rebels in sacks, tackles for loss, and quarterback hurries, and it’s really not even close.
Back in August, Jackson narrowed his top five college choices down to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.
The senior will take the field as a part of the 20th annual high school football all-star classic at noon on that first Saturday of 2020.
