MCGGG running back named NJCAA All-American
Less than one week removed from his commitment to North Texas, Mississippi Gulf Coast Running back DeAndre Torrey has proven his worth as a soon to be division I athlete.
Today, the Gautier alum was named to the NJCAA All-American second team for his incredible freshman season up at Perk. Torrey was racking up yards at a torrid pace, ending the 2017 season with nearly 1,300 ticks which was good for fourth most in the entire country. On top of that, he scored 12 touchdowns in just nine games on his way to junior college super stardom.
Torrey is expected to sign tomorrow as well on JUCO mid-year signing day.
