MBI investigating shooting at Alcorn State

JACKSON, Miss., – The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has been requested to investigate a shooting that occurred at Alcorn State University.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding shots fired in the area of the Industrial Technology Building on Alcorn State campus.

Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. At least one individual received fatal injuries. No arrest has been made at this time.
