MBI arrests subject involved in shooting at Alcorn State University

JACKSON, Miss., – The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has arrested and charged 26-year-old Taevion Doss in connection to the shooting incident that occurred at Alcorn State University on October 11th.

Doss has been charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon on school property.

This remains an open investigation. No further comment will be made.

“I’m proud of the hard work and collaboration between the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and our local partners,” said Commissioner Sean Tindell. “Together, we’re sending a clear message that senseless crime has no place in Mississippi.”
