Mayor of Gautier Excited Ahead of State of the City Address

The city of Gautier will hold the first State of the City address open to the public since 2015 right here at City Hall on Tuesday. However, that’s not the only thing Mayor Casey Vaughan is excited about.

The city is set to open the Sound Amphitheater in April and has Mayor Vaughan excited about the benefits it will bring to his city.

“And now it is our time to shine and I’m proud to represent the citizens of Gautier and I hope everybody takes pride in this venue because it will be the catalyst for economic development here in Gautier.”

At Tuesdays State of the City address, in addition to the opening of the amphitheater, Mayor Vaughan will cover city wide topics such as new businesses, infrastructure, quality of life, public safety, beautification, and the city’s new water filtration system.

The State of the City address will be held here at City Hall on Tuesday at 6 P.M. It will also be streamed live on Facebook and Instagram.
