Mayor Gilich nominates new Biloxi police chief

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)-Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich has nominated the next chief of police for the city.

In a resolution, Mayor Gilich recommended Assistant Police Chief Christopher DeBack for the position.

The resolution is expected to be discussed during next Tuesday’s city council meeting.

It will take effect and be in effect as soon as it is passed.
