Mark Ingram and Terron Armstead selected for 2026 Saints Hall of Fame

Two of the most accomplished players in New Orleans Saints history are set to receive one of the franchise’s highest honors.

The Media Selection Committee of the Saints Hall of Fame has announced that former left tackle Terron Armstead and running back Mark Ingram have been selected for induction into the Saints Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Armstead established himself as one of the premier offensive linemen in franchise history during his nine seasons with the Saints from 2013 to 2021. Known for his athleticism, leadership, and consistency, Armstead earned three consecutive Pro Bowl selections and was named an Associated Press All-Pro in 2018. That same season, he played a key role in helping lead New Orleans to the NFC Championship Game.

Ingram’s impact on the Saints was equally significant. During his 10 seasons with the franchise, he rushed 1,433 times for 6,500 yards and 52 touchdowns, becoming one of the most productive running backs in team history. He also contributed heavily in the passing game, recording 264 receptions for 1,804 yards and five touchdowns.

A former Heisman Trophy winner, Ingram became the Saints’ all-time leading rusher in 2021, a record he held until it was surpassed in 2024. His physical running style, versatility, and longevity made him a fan favorite and one of the most respected players of his era.

Following the announcement, both Armstead and Ingram reflected on what being selected to the Saints Hall of Fame means to them, expressing gratitude for the honor and appreciation for the organization.

The induction weekend associated with a home Saints game in 2026 will be announced at a future date. Congratulations to Terron Armstead and Mark Ingram!
