Margaret Alfonso wins runoff chancery court district 8, place 3

Margaret Alfonso’s family, friends, and loved ones celebrated with smiles and tears as the final votes came in.

Alfonso tells News 25 her supporters were like no other during the election. After winning, Alfonso already started thinking ahead for the future.

Alfonso knows it is time to get work and do her job to the best of her abilities. “This was a team effort. This was not an individual effort. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will be worthy of your support. I promise you.

Alfonso took the time to thank the Biloxi VA for taking care of her husband. She tells News 25 she could not have won this race without their help.
