Mardi Gras Parades rolling along the Coast this weekend
We have a full slate of Mardi Gras parades over the weekend as we move closer to Mardi Gras Day.
Main Street Pascagoula is getting ready for the Krewe of Little Rascals to parade through the streets Saturday.
This year, a fourth-grade king and a queen will be crowned from each Pascagoula elementary school. The Little Rascals can walk in the parade or decorate wagons, golf carts, bikes, and scooters. Awards will also be given out so put on your best Mardi Gras costume.
Saturday is packed with parades:
- 10 am – Biloxi Children’s Walking Parade, Downtown Biloxi
- 11 am – Krewe of Kids Parade, Bay St Louis
- 1:30 pm – Mystic Krewe of Pine Island Parade, Vancleave
- 2 pm – Krewe of Pearl Parade, Picayune
- 6 pm – Carnival Association of Long Beach Parade, Long Beach
- 6 pm – Gautier Men’s Club Parade, Gautier
Sunday, there are two more parades. Mardi Gras is going to the dogs again in the Krewe of Barkloxi Pawrade at 11 a.m. We wrap things up at noon Sunday with the Krewe of Nereids Parade in Waveland.
