Mardi Gras night parade in Ocean Springs
Let the good times roll in the City of Discovery tonight for the annual Ocean Springs Carnival Association night parade.
The floats will line up near the Ocean Springs Yacht Club at Front Beach, travel on Porter Avenue, Government Street, and wrap up on Holcomb Boulevard. Barricades are already placed along the roadways in Ocean Springs and police officers will begin closing the streets along the parade route around 5:45 tonight.
Many residents are eager for the parade to roll through and call it one of the best here on the Coast. Ocean Springs Mardi Gras parade attendee Stan Flint said, “It’s just small enough to be manageable, but big enough and rowdy enough to be fun. We have great police protection here and the citizens are great people. It’s just a great place. That and Pascagoula are my two favorite ones.”
