Gulfport Police Department searching for armed robbery suspect
On April 17, 2021, at approximately 12:12 a.m., officers of the Gulfport Police Department responded to the 10000 block of Highway 49, in reference to an Armed Robbery.
Through the course of the investigation, Detectives determined that Grady Lavell Sumrall robbed employees at gunpoint and fled the scene before officers arrived.
Sumrall has an active warrant for Armed Robbery and his bond was set at $200,000.00.
Sumrall is described as a black male, bald, approximately 5’05”, and 150 lbs. Sumrall was last known to be in possession of a firearm. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
