Man turns himself in on embezzlement charges

D’Iberville police have arrested a man on the run for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from Hertz Rental Car.
According to Captain Marty Griffin, Charles James Thompson turned himself in today on the charge of embezzlement. Griffin says while an employee at Hertz, Thompson allegedly embezzled over $8,000 and has been a fugitive since 2015.
Thompson is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
