Man shot in the foot at D’Iberville apartment complex

D’Iberville Police are investigating a Wednesday evening shooting that injured a man.

About 9 p.m., officers responded to a call at the Timber Grove Apartments on Automall Parkway about reports of gunfire.

Officers found an 18-year-old black male with a single gunshot wound to the left foot. He was found between the park and the pool area in the complex.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. The injury is considered non-life-threatening.

Investigators are still trying to find out what led up to the shooting.
