Man shot in Gulfport

Gulfport police have obtained a warrant for the suspect involved in the shooting that occurred this afternoon.
Detectives are looking for 41-year-old Marvin Ray McMillian, who is identified as the suspect, and are charging him for one count of aggravated assault.
According to the Gulfport Police Department, a 41-year-old male was shot outside of a residence on the 500 block of 26th Street in Gulfport. The man was transported to the hospital. He is reported to be in stable condition.
News 25 spoke to a woman who said she heard the gunshot and then heard the victim scream for his life as he was getting beaten up.
