Man sentenced for deadly 2023 crash in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-A Gulfport man will spend 17 years behind bars for his role in a deadly 2023 crash that happened during Cruisin’ the Coast festivities.

Joshua Ray Bullock was convicted and sentenced Monday on a charge of manslaughter in the death of 67-year-old Donna Wilson on October 2, 2023.

Bullock was driving his car at a high rate of speed in a parking lot near Edgewater Mall when he lost control and hit a parked car Wilson was trying to enter at the time of the crash, which led to her death.

Bullock will also have to serve three years of post-release supervision after his release from prison.
