Man found dead at Flint Creek Water Park Saturday morning
WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)–Wiggins Police are investigating the death of a man found dead from a gunshot wound early Saturday morning at Flint Creek Water Park.
Investigators say they got the call around 1:21 a.m.
Once authorities arrived on scene, the found the man dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say they believe this is an isolated incident, and that there is no threat to the public or visitors to Flint Creek at this time.
The case remains under investigation, and Wiggins Police are being assisted by the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, Stone County Coroner’s Office, and Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
